Dr. Schwartz has been practicing orthodontics in Western Massachusetts since 1983: He opened his first practice in Greenfield and later in Florence. He is a dual-trained specialist with degrees in both pediatric dentistry from the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo and orthodontics from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. He also earned a master’s degree in oral science from the University of Buffalo.
He is a member of the Valley District Dental Society, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Schwartz and his family moved to Deerfield in 1983. He is married to Kathleen Dugas, a professional photographer. They have one child, Leah — a college student majoring in theater. In his free time, Dr. Schwartz enjoys tennis, skiing, and music.
